The report relayed by Sport Witness claims the London club are ‘delighted‘ with their most recent loan of Dani Ceballos, and would see a move for Isco as a ‘good investment‘.
As for Manchester City, AS claim they are still on the search for a replacement for David Silva – who will be leaving the Etihad at the end of the season. This comes despite Pep Guardiola’s ongoing heavy praise for Phil Foden, whom he recently admitted would ‘not be sold even for £500 million‘.
Isco, according to the report, sees both clubs as ‘magnificent solutions‘ to his ongoing search for game time at the Bernabéu, while a move would also help with his chances of securing a spot on the Spain squad ahead of next summer’s European Championships. The ‘dream‘ of securing a spot with the national team is a dream that is described by AS as being ‘more attainable‘ in England than in Spain.
Manchester City fans will be all too familiar with the club being linked with a move for Isco, with rumours of the transfer dating back to 2010 and have been ongoing more or less every transfer window since that date.
