Manchester City have received a major fitness boost going into the crucial latter stage of the 2019/20 campaign, with Leroy Sane returning to training with the rest of the first-team squad, following his anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained in August.
The German winger was captured by club photographers in training on Monday morning ahead of the Manchester derby on Wednesday night. Despite his return to full training, it is highly unlikely the forward will play any part in the League Cup clash.
Sane continues to be the subject of plenty attention from Bayern Munich, however developments in recent weeks have suggested that there will NOT be a transfer for City’s number 19 this window.
Manchester City have a huge UEFA Champions League clash with Real Madrid on the horizon, and Pep Guardiola will be hoping the former PFA Young Player of the Year will make his return in time for the double-header against the La Liga giants.
