Manchester City have reportedly been ‘in contact’ with the representatives of Adama Traoré over a move in the summer. The club have made it clear they are ‘very interested’ in making the Wolves winger a Manchester City player next season, according to Duncan Castles on the Transfer Podcast.
The Blues are reportedly wanting to ‘open discussions’ with Adama Traoré, who has already impressed with three goals against Manchester City across both fixtures this season.
Traoré has four goals and four assists in 20 Premier League appearances so far this season, and his pure pace and power would make him a viable candidate to replace the seemingly departing Leroy Sané.
At only 23-years-old, Traoré has plenty of time to grow as a player under Pep Guardiola; and the winger might take some encouragement from the development of Raheem Sterling under the manager’s leadership in recent seasons.
