Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is said to be have been so ‘impressed‘ by Wolves winger Adama Traore that his club are preparing an offer close to €80 million, claim CalcioMercato.
This report follows similar murmurs in the English press on Sunday about Manchester City’s alleged interest in the in-form Wolves star.
CalcioMercato claim that it is Traore’s displays this season that have impressed Guardiola ‘so much‘ that he has sanctioned a move for the 23-year-old. Traore’s dribbling skills and physicality have been evident in his two matches against the Premier League champions this season, scoring a total of three times and assisting once in both of Wolves’ surprise victories.
If the reports are true, it would be reasonable to assume that it is the first-hand evidence of Traore’s devastating potential that has tempted Manchester City into pursuing the Spaniard.
