Jonathan Moss will take charge of on-the-field matters when Manchester City return to action in the Premier League against Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday 3rd December.
Manchester City will be looking to bounce back from the disappointing result at St James’ Park that precedes the clash against Sean Dyche’s side. Pep Guardiola’s side fell 11 points behind league leaders Liverpool, in a game full of missed opportunities and defensive frailties – a story of City’s season so far.
Jonathan Moss (49) will be the man in the middle in Burnley on Tuesday 3rd, supported by Marc Perry and Eddie Smart as assistant referees. Touchline matters have been affiliated to Martin Atkinson.
Atkinson will be taking charge of his 26th match involving Manchester City, since his first appearance in a game involving the blues in 2012. The experienced match official last officiated a game involving the champions in the Carabao Cup back at the end of October – the fourth round victory over Southampton at the Etihad Stadium.
As for the Video Assistant Referees, they will be manned by Graham Scott (VAR) and Andy Halliday (Assistant VAR).
Match referee Moss will take charge of his 11th Premier League fixture of the season when Manchester City take on Burnley. So far, Moss has handed out 40 yellow cards in his previous 10 matches, awarding three penalties but not sending any players off.
