Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu is a target for Manchester City and Manchester United ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports.
Soyuncu has caught the eye of pundits and fans alike with an impressive start to the season for the Foxes, who sit second in the Premier League table. The Turkish defender has played in every league game so far this campaign, and helped his team concede a league-low eight goals.
Turkish newspaper Fanatik say his performances have caught the eye of multiple top clubs. Manchester City are among those said to be interested, but the Foxes will ask for £50 million for the 23-year-old.
Arsenal are also reportedly keen, as are Manchester United – who signed his former teammate Harry Maguire in the summer for around £80 million, and are said to be keen to reunite the duo, who didn’t play together often due to Soyuncu’s slow start in England.
Soyuncu is a full international for Turkey and has been a key part of their side, as they’ve qualified for the 2020 European Championships. Soyuncu has also played 21 times for Leicester since joining in a 2018 deal from German outfit SC Freiburg.
