Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has denied claims linking right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester City.
The 20-year-old was recently touted to be on the radar of the Premier League champions, but his manager has dismissed the rumours.
Wan-Bissaka has won plaudits from around the country so far this season for his performances. He has started all but one of Palace’s Premier League fixtures.
The former England boss told Sky Sports: “I’ve got absolutely no idea if there’s any truth to the subject at all.”
“But it’s good I suppose that there are people out there writing stories, who see the quality of Bissaka and appreciate what he’s been doing and linking [him] with another club.”
Guardiola’s side already have the expensive duo of Kyle Walker and Danilo, but the club are always on the look out for new talent.
“I always wonder when I see those reports what Kyle Walker and Danilo are thinking,” Hodgson said.
Manchester City will continue to scout the network for potential signings, with the January transfer window not too far away.
