Man City are ‘thinking about’ making a move for former Man United forward

Manchester City are ‘thinking about’ making a move for Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku, according to Gazzetta dello Sport as relayed by SempreInter

These reports don’t seem to be going away, and it looks more likely day by day that the former Manchester United star is a target. After finally securing Vincent Kompany’s long term replacement in the summer, attentions have switched to replacing the clubs all time leading goalscorer, Sergio Agüero.

On Lukaku, Gazzetta say the Blues are ‘thinking about’ making a move for the Belgian and are ‘keen’ to make a deal happen. His goalscoring record speaks for itself; with the 27-year-old scoring 16 goals in 21 Serie A appearances so far this season.

Alongside him, Erling Haaland and Lautaro Martinez are the only other names that have been mentioned so far. But you can only assume the links will intensify as the summer window draws closer.
