Laporte RETURNS – Manchester City vs West Ham (Team News)

Manchester City take on West Ham in the rearranged fixture at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night. It’s been quite a dramatic few days for the club, following UEFA’s hefty sanction stealing all the headlines in the run up to this one.

Here’s how the current champions line-up under the lights…


Ederson retains his place in goal as usual. Kyle Walker retains his place in the side at right-back, while Benjamin Mendy comes in on the other side, replacing Oleksandr Zinchenko, following his red card against Tottenham. Nicolas Otamendi remains in the side, partnering Aymeric Laporte, who returns after further time on the sidelines.

David Silva lines up alongside Kevin De Bruyne in the more attacking midfield roles. Rodri remains in the team.

The front three consists of Bernardo SilvaGabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero. All in all, it’s FIVE changes from the side that fell to defeat against Tottenham.
