Kevin Friend will take charge of on-the-field matters when Manchester City return to action at the Etihad Stadium against West Ham on Wednesday 19th February.
Manchester City will be looking to build up an encouraging run of form ahead of the trip to Real Madrid in the Champions League – a game that has taken on even more significance following events in recent days.
Kevin Friend (48) will be the man in the middle at the Etihad on Wednesday night, supported by Neil Davies and Richard West as assistant referees. Touchline matters have been affiliated to Mike Dean.
Friend will be taking charge of his 28th match involving Manchester City, since his first appearance in a game involving the blues in October 2009. The Leicestershire-born match official’s most recent game involving the current holders was the comfortable 4-0 victory over Championship side Fulham, in the Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round.
As for the Video Assistant Referees, they will be manned by Andy Madley (VAR) and Constantine Hatzidakis (Assistant VAR).
