Manchester City are among a number of clubs tracking rising star Jude Bellingham of Birmingham City, according to The Daily Mail.
The 16-year-old has attracted the attention of City; as well as Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and rivals Manchester United – with a series of impressive performances in the Championship.
Despite his age, Bellingham has made 28 appearances so far this season in England’s second division, scoring four times. He’s mainly deployed in central midfield, but has also seen minutes in wide positions.
A tough-tackling midfielder with an eye for a pass, it doesn’t take much imagination to believe that Pep Guardiola might be interested in the player.
However, recent reports have suggested that Birmingham could demand an enormous transfer fee to make the move happen, with some sources naming fees as high as £50 million.
