For the majority of the season, Ruben Dias hasn’t put a foot wrong, but on the night he scored an own goal. City have been previously linked with the 22-year-old, who has a price tag of around £80 million. The interest is rivalled by Liverpool and Tottenham, who are also looking to acquire his signature.

With Angeliño’s departure and Mendy struggling to stay fully fit, the Blues are still looking at bringing in reinforcements at left back; with Spanish defender Alex Grimaldo playing the full 90 minutes. His contract was extended on 26th November, so City would have to fork out at least €40 million in order to bring him to the Etihad.
