Bayern Munich are still focused on signing Manchester City winger Leroy Sane next summer, although his latest change of representation could cause complications in a potential deal, according to Kicker.
The 24-year-old has been subject to continuous murmurs linking the winger with a move to the Bundesliga since contract negotiations appeared to have stalled in early 2019, however a change to Sane’s representatives may have cause complications in a potential deal.
According to German outlet Kicker, as relayed by Manuel Veth on twitter, Bayern Munich are more focused on signing the Manchester City star than RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner in the summer. However, the change of representation to LIAN Sports may ‘complicate‘ a transfer, as negotiations would ‘have to start from the beginning‘.
Sane has recently returned to training on the pitch, following his injury in the Community Shield back in August – a setback that may have been the sole reason behind the transfer to Bayern Munich stalling. Manchester City will be hoping the Germany international can return to full fitness in time for their Champions League double-header against La Liga giants Real Madrid.
