Pep Guardiola makes THREE changes to the side that beat Aston Villa in the Premier League, as the Blues look to maintain their hot streak in all competitions by taking on Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium this afternoon.
It’s an unchanged back four from the side that faced Aston Villa – Ederson, Joao Cancelo, Fernandinho, John Stones and Benjamin Mendy lining up in the defence.
Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva retain their places in the more forward-thinking attacking midfield positions, while Ilkay Gundogan comes in for Rodrigo in holding midfield.
Riyad Mahrez is surprisingly rested this afternoon, with Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva starting on the left and right of the attacking three respectively. Sergio Aguero retains his places the focal point of the attack after his record-breaking outing at Villa Park.
SUBSTITUTES: Bravo, Walker, Otamendi, Rodri, Foden, Mahrez, Jesu.
