Leeds United are looking to finalise a move for Manchester City winger Ian Poveda within the next week, as they seek a first-team replacement for Jack Clarke, according to Beren Cross of LeedsLive.
It is reported that the 19-year-old winger will be arriving at Elland Road on a permanent deal this month or, at the latest, next summer after an initial loan spell.

Leeds’ director of football Victor Orta, as well as first-team coach Marcelo Bielsa, have scouted Manchester City’s academy prospects extensively and have earmarked Ian Poveda as a player who is ready to make the switch to Championship football and have an immediate impact on the league’s high-flyers.
Poveda has been a regular fixture in Manchester City’s under-21 side throughout their EFL Trophy fixtures and has a solitary appearance for the senior team – playing the full 90 minutes as Manchester City swept aside Burton Albion in last season’s Carabao Cup.
