Pep Guardiola makes EIGHT changes to the side that beat Port Vale in the FA Cup as they begin the two-legged semi-final stage of the Carabao Cup away to Manchester United.
Claudio Bravo retains his place between the sticks for the Blues, making it five consecutive starts for the Chile international. Benjamin Mendy replaces Angelino at left-back with Kyle Walker coming in for Joao Cancelo at right-back. A new centre-back pairing of Fernandinho and Nicolas Otamendi completes the back four.
Ilkay Gundogan retains his place in the midfield in the ‘number eight’ role. Kevin De Bruyne partners the Germany international, with Rodrigo coming back into the holding midfield position.
Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva appear to start on either wing, although with Pep Guardiola, who knows. At first glance, Raheem Sterling appears to be starting as the lone striker, withe both Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus on the bench.
SUBSTITUTES: Ederson, Cancelo, Garcia, Foden, Silva, Jesus, Aguero.
