Manchester City, along with several other clubs, are poised to make a move for out of favour Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, as the Catalan club look to sell him in the summer, according to ElDesmarque.
The French international has failed to make a noticeable impact since his high profile move from Borussia Dortmund in 2017, sliding further down the pecking order each season. Of course, injuries have played a large role in preventing him from establishing himself as a consistent member of the first team and has lead to a lack of confidence and a decline in overall performance.
With Antoine Griezmann arriving in the summer, his chances of establishing himself in the first team have grown even slimmer. With that in mind, it is no surprise to hear that the club are looking to recoup some of the fee they paid for him (€105 million) before his stock plummets completely.
According to the report, Manchester City are not alone in their interest for the 22-year-old, with Premier League rivals Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool joining Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus in considering a move for the youngster.
