Pep Guardiola makes SEVEN changes to the side that beat Everton at the Etihad Stadium as they begin their defence of the FA Cup at home to Port Vale. The League Two side sit in tenth place, and today will be a memorable day for the 8,000 fans travelling to Manchester.
Claudio Bravo, who has featured in City’s last three Premier League games, continues his normal cup competition duties in goal. Angeliño replaces Benjamin Mendy at left-back with Cancelo continuing his role on the right. A new centre-back pairing of John Stones and Taylor Harwood-Bellis completes the back four.
Ilkay Gundogan retains his place in the midfield but moves back into the eight role. Oleksandr Zinchenko looks to have been deployed in a attacking midfield role that he regularly appears in for Ukraine. Next to him is the returning David Silva as captain.
It also looks like Phil Foden will start on the left, with Bernardo Silva on the opposite flank. Sergio Agüero leads the line in place of Gabriel Jesus.
