Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts is set to cancel his loan move at Norwich City and make the switch to Championship club Middlesbrough, according to Football Insider.
The 22-year-old joined the Canaries on loan in the summer, after various different moves failed to materialise. Since his arrival, Roberts has only made four appearances and failed to make a significant impression at Carrow Road.
After cancelling his loan, Football Insider claim that the winger is set to join Middlesbrough for the second half of the Championship season.
Roberts joined Manchester City in 2015 from Fulham, and was touted to be a future star at the Etihad Stadium. His contract, which runs until 2022, has mainly been spent out on loan at Celtic and sister-club Girona.
