Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino will NOT be committing his immediate managerial future to La Liga giants Real Madrid, with the Argentine coach waiting to see if Manchester City come calling next summer, according to an exclusive report from the Sun.
Pochettino, who was relieved of his duties at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the end of last month, is unsurprisingly a coach in demand following an impressive reign at the North London club. Reports have recently linked the 47-year-old with the top job at both Bayern Munich and Arsenal.
However, according to the Sun, Mauricio Pochettino has his eye on the managerial roles at Manchester City and Manchester United – so much so that he is willing to hold back from committing his future to Real Madrid, who are unsurprisingly targeting the former Premier League boss.
Pochettino wants to return to the Premier League, according to the Sun, and so the possible opportunity to coach at either Manchester club come the end of the season is interesting him.
