Man City lead rivals in chase for Nigerian star – Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea interested

In an exclusive report from TEAMtalk, Manchester City are supposedly leading Premier League rivals Chelsea and Liverpool in their attempts to bring Ibrahim Said (17) to the Premier League.

The Blues are always on the lookout for fresh young talent, and this report suggests Nigerian forward Ibrahim Said is the latest target. The 17-year-old has had a stunning year, with his performances in the recent Under 17 World Cup being the main highlight.

Said is currently a member of ‘Dabo Babes Academy‘ and has numerous clubs from all over Europe chasing his signature. Despite City reportedly being the frontrunners amongst their Premier League rivals, Sporting Lisbon and FC Porto are pushing hard to convince the striker to move to Portugal.

With Sergio Agüero’s contract up at the end of next season, Said could be a player Manchester City look to progress through the Elite Development Squad and eventually into the first team.

If Manchester City are to fend off the long list of sides claimed to be interested in the teenager, including Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, the deal is likely to be completed in time for a move next year.
