The latest saga in the future of Leroy Sané is that Bayern Munich are still optimistic about their chances of signing the winger, according to SportBild as relayed by Sport Witness.
In the latest edition of the German publication, it’s reported that super-agent and intermediary in the transfer, Giovanni Branchini, has been working behind the scenes to get a deal done with Sané.

The proposed transfer would take place in the next summer transfer window, and Branchini aims to get it done for less than €100m. This would be considerably less than what Manchester City were said to have demanded earlier in 2019, before a serious injury ruled Sané out until after Christmas.
This news comes after Sané reportedly put an end to contract renewal talks with the club, deciding once and for all to move on and return to his homeland.

Leroy Sané has scored 39 goals in 134 appearances for Manchester City, and the side are missing his electric pace on the left as he continues to recover from a knee injury.
