Claudio Bravo comes in for Ederson, to give the Brazilian stopper a much-needed break. Joao Cancelo, Nicolas Otamendi, Eric Garcia and Benjamin Mendy line-up in a defensive four – an entirely new line to those that faced city rivals Manchester United on Sunday.
As for the midfield, Rodrigo retains his place in the defensive spot, while Phil Foden and Ilkay Gundogan take up the more attacking positions in the centre of the park. Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva drop out of the squad.
As for the attacking three, Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus retain their places with Raheem Sterling being replaced by Riyad Mahrez.
