Manchester City full-back Oleksandr Zinchenko has been declared fully fit by manager Pep Guardiola ahead of the weekend’s Manchester Derby, after the Ukrainian was ruled out with a knee injury over the past few weeks.
Zinchenko had undergone knee surgery from doctor Ramon Cugat in Barcelona towards the start of November, however returned to training last week.
According to Pep Guardiola, the Ukrainian international is ‘ready‘, however understandably, his physical condition is unknown and the Catalan manager is unsure as to how many minutes he is currently able to play.
Ilkay Gundogan returns from suspension and is available for selection for Saturday’s Manchester derby, while the trio of Sergio Aguero, Aymeric Laporte and Leroy Sane remain sidelined through their injuries.
