The first four images showcasing the interior of Manchester City’s latest addition to the Etihad Stadium, ‘The Ardwick’ pub, have been revealed on twitter on Friday afternoon by Mike Minay of BBC Radio Manchester.
Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium has been subject to some dramatic changes over the years, including the transition from an athletics arena to a football stadium in 2002. But now, even further improvements and unique additions are being implemented to increase the overall experience football fans are gaining from their time at the home of the Premier League champions.
Earlier this month, first details were revealed that the club would be unveiling a pub within the stadium itself – The Ardwick. On Friday afternoon, the first images of what said ‘local’ would look like were unveiled on twitter by BBC Radio Manchester journalist Mike Minay.
The first four images certainly bring across a very authentic pub experience – low ceilings, dim lighting and lavish interior that still represents the feel of a traditional British pub. A first insight into the pricing of the bar can also be established by the images, which include a variety of Cask Ales priced at £5.50 and meals priced at £10.
