The Spanish publication claims Manchester City have ‘positioned themselves‘ to sign the midfielder. However, the club will face stiff competition if they are genuinely interested in his signature, with Barcelona and Real Madrid also said to be keen. Pari Saint-Germain are the other club Mundo Deportivo links Ruíz to.
Reports suggest that it’s not known which club Ruíz is most interested in moving to, with both Spanish giants on the hunt for new midfielders to replace the ageing Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, among others.

Fabian Ruiz has amassed 45 appearances for Napoli since arriving in the summer of 2018, scoring eight goals in the process.
