Manchester City will send representatives from the Etihad Stadium to monitor Saturday night’s European Championship qualifier between Austria and North Macedonia, according to Sky Sports Austria.
Officials from Manchester will join six other clubs in sending scouts to monitor Saturday nights clash in Vienna, with representatives from FC Köln, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fiorentina, Atalanta, Deportivo La Coruna, Alanyaspor, and Fehervar all set to be in attendance.
As well as officials from club sides attending the game, representatives of the Dutch and Israeli federations are expected in the Happel Stadium.
No specific player has been identified by the report from Sky Sports Austria, however Manchester City are set to continue their trend of monitoring high-profile clashes and events in world football to maintain their place at the top tier of European football. City have most notably sent representatives to the FIFA U17 World Cup in an attempt to identify the best talents.
