The man who has been tipped to replace Sergio Agüero at Manchester City is Inter Milan forward, Lautaro Martinez. According InterLive as relayed by Sports Witness, Gabriel Jesus has now being considered in negotiations.
According to the Italian media outlet, Gabriel Jesus has been looking for a way out of the club, despite repeatedly suggesting he is happy in his current position of challenging Sergio Aguero for a permanent spot in the starting XI.
It also says that the Brazilian ‘would like to see a new adventure in a new championship’. It’s likely the deal would be a swap, but Inter Milan would prefer a cash deal.
The report suggests that Pep Guardiola himself wants Lautaro Martinez, and the interest in the Inter forward comes directly from Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero – a fellow compatriot.
Lautaro Martinez has had a solid start to the current Serie A season, scoring five goals in 12 matches, as well as three goals in four Champions League matches.
