Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson was taken off at half-time in their Champions League clash against Atalanta in Italy with what was described as a ‘minor injury’.
The Brazilian hadn’t shown any indication that he was struggling prior to half-time but was replaced by Claudio Bravo just after the break.
BT Sport confirmed live on TV commentary that it is suspected Ederson has picked up a ‘minor injury’ and was taken off as a precaution.
City will be hoping the keeper can recover in time to face Liverpool on Sunday in what is a majorly important game in the race for the Premier League title.
