No Rodri, No Silva – Manchester City travelling squad to face Atalanta (Champions League)

Manchester City have confirmed the travelling squad to fly to Milan this evening, as the blues take on Atalanta in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

As per Manchester City’s official twitter page, the travelling squad is as follows:

The goalkeepers are the expected names, with first-choice Ederson partnered by Claudio Bravo and Scott Carson.

As for the defenders, there’s a full compliment of full-backs with Angelino and Benjamin Mendy joined by Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo. The central defenders include teenager Eric Garcia, along with John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi.

A surprise name is included in the list of midfielders travelling to Italy on Tuesday evening, with Tommy Doyle part of the squad. Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Fernandinho and Riyad Mahrez complete the midfielders.

In attack, Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero both travel as they look to compete for the striking role, with Raheem Sterling joins youngster Ian Carlo Poveda.
