Manchester City travel to the San Siro knowing a win would secure qualification to the knock-out phase of Europe’s premier club competition. Pep Guardiola’s side sit top of Group C on nine points, while Atalanta sit at the foot of the group on zero points.

Aleksei Kulbakov (40) will be the man in the middle in Milan on Wednesday night, supported by fellow Belarusian assistants; Dmitri Zhuk and Oleg Maslyanko. Touchline matters have been affiliated to Denis Scherbakov.

Kulbakov will be taking charge of his first game involving Manchester City, while Wednesday night will mark his 12th game in the UEFA Champions League. The 40-year-old’s previous game in the competition involved another English side – taking charge of Chelsea’s 2-1 victory of LOSC Lille early last month.

As for the Video Assistant Referees, they will be manned by French officials Clément Turpin (VAR) and Amaury Delerue (Assistant VAR).
