The Premier League have revealed on twitter a remarkable statistic that proves Raheem Sterling’s worth at Manchester City, scoring in 43 Premier League matches without ever ending up on the losing side.

The England international is having a remarkable season so far, for both club and country, scoring 17 goals and providing nine assists in just 18 appearances – a total of 26 goal contributions this campaign alone!

In fact, Raheem Sterling’s statistics since the arrival of Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium, are as impressive as this seasons – seeing the winger contribute to 131 goals for his club – averaging a goal contribution every 95.1 minutes.

Sterling’s efforts on the pitch are gaining recognition from his peers and those in the media too, with the winger nominated for this year’s Ballon D’Or as well as winning the PFA Young Player of the Year in recent seasons. With the season only in October, Sterling is well on track to exceed 50 goal contributions in all competitions, delivering his best ever season in the professional game.
