Manchester City central defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis is being ‘watched’ by Huddersfield Town, according to the reputable news outlet on the monitoring of young players; Scouts in Attendance.
The 17-year-old made his first-team debut in a 0-3 Carabao Cup win over Preston North End last month, and won over the hearts of many Manchester City fans when he was spotted celebrating with the travelling fans in the club’s 1-3 victory at Goodison Park a few days later.
Life-long Manchester City fan Harwood-Bellis has found first team minutes hard to come by this season, despite the Blues’ well-documented injury problems at centre-back.
Huddersfield Town have struggled since their relegation to the Championship last season, and could be looking to capitalise on Harwood-Bellis’ low place on the Manchester City defensive pecking order by bringing him to West Yorkshire in January.
