Manchester City and England international Kyle Walker is missing from the match-day squad at Selhurst Park, with what has been described as an ‘illness’.

There was speculation that he may be missing during the week when Manchester City released videos of the players returning back from international duty. Walker was the only notable absentee from the group.
Walker had made a solid start to the 2019/20 season, with competition from new singing Joao Cancelo, who could start today at right back. He was also disappointed to not receive call-ups to the two latest England squads and now see’s his place in both club and country particularly under threat.

It is not known whether he will be back available for selection when Manchester City face Atlanta in the Champions League on Tuesday.
