Raheem Sterling has become the most commercially sought after player in the Premier League, and is set to take over from David Beckham as the hottest property in football, according to the Mirror.
Last week, it was confirmed by Sterling’s representatives, Colossal Sports Management, that the England and Manchester City winger had been signed up as the new face of Gillette. In addition to this, the Mirror backs up earlier claims made last month by the Telegraph, that Sterling is doing an advert for Pepsi as well as a tie-up with clothing brand H&M.
Recently, Sterling hit the six million follower mark on Instagram, starred in an advert for the latest edition of the FIFA franchise, and was most recently revealed as the cover star of the latest release of the world’s largest football magazine, FourFourTwo.
The report from the Mirror also claims manufacturers are ready to break the bank to secure his next boot deal, with his current Nike deal due to expire next year. It was claimed in early August by the Telegraph, that Nike brand Air Jordan were prepared to offer Sterling the chance to become one of the first footballers to wear and endorse their own range of boots.
