The first leaks of what we can expect from Puma for next year’s home shirt have been released by FootyHeadlines this week, and ‘creativity’ is an understatement.

Next season’s home shirt will ditch the relatively unpopular purple, used on this season’s edition, and will instead combine sky blue with navy – officially termed Team Light Blue & Peacoat officially.

FootyHeadlines confirmed that ‘Team LightBlue’ is the same shade of sky blue used predominantly on this season’s home shirt, while ‘Peacoat’ is Puma’s standard navy used throughout the ‘125-year anniversary’ range.

Further details relayed by FootyHeadlines claim next season’s edition will be ‘crafted from culture’. It was further suggested that graphics will be implemented within the shirt itself, ‘inspired by the city’s architecture, landscape, music and arts.

As seen by the mock-up crated by FootyHeadlines, a ‘mosaic medium’ will be within the shirt itself, featuring prominent Manchester icons such as Vimto, Factory Records, Oasis, Rolls Royce, the Sex Pistols and Colin Bell.

This exclusive courtesy of FootyHeadlines was rounded off by stating the new home shirt May 2020 or July 2020.
