Shark Team Circled By Sharks – The Transfer Round-Up (11/07/19)

A slower day in the Transfer news sector for Manchester City with some fans thinking our window is complete and others still hoping to see a couple more new players wearing sky blue. Either way you choose, we have got it all covered in today’s transfer roundup…

Another CFG success

Now former CFG player Pablo Mari has been announced by Flamengo in Brazil as their new defender. Manchester City signed Pablo Mari from now Spanish third division side Gimnástic. He has since been under the City football groups loan system, having spells at Girona, NAC Breda and Deportivo la Coruña. Having signed for a possible £250,000 pounds he has allowed City to earn a profit by leaving to Flamengo for £1.3 million this summer as reported by Mauro Cezar of Sport Witness. Even without seeing him play in a City shirt it will show a good example of making profits be them any size by using the CFG loaning system.

Sharks circling for Sane

PSG are now a new name to enter the fray in the hunt for German winger Leroy Sané as it is reported by le10sport that they will look at the youngster as a potential replacement for Neymar if he were to get his move away from the Parisians. Sporting Director of PSG Leonardo Araujo is apparently tracking City’s number 19 as there is still doubt from City fans that Leroy has decided to stay in Manchester. The Ligue 1 champions will be in the race for the young German wingers signature should he allow teams to smell blood and tempt him to leave the Etihad. If however, he comes to the decision to leave, it’s said Bayern Munich are still the leaders for his services this summer.

Cancel The Transfer

For what seems several consecutive years news the transfer of Portuguese full-back João Cancelo’s situation has once again today provided another update. This time TuttoJuve reports that a deal for Cancelo has stalled and that Juventus are holding out for the £50 million asking price they have set. Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Manchester City are vying for the Portuguese international but it’s reported that no club has made such offer close to his valuation. Even as reported in the past few days that City have offered as much it is yet to be seen whether they really have or if Juve are yet to respond. Another possibility could be linked with CorSport’s report that the Sporting Director of Juventus Fabio Paratici is trying to get Cancelo to sign for Barcelona out of all three teams after him. It seems the fun in this rumour has run a little dry as reported negotiations dragged on and allowed other names to be thrown in the hat. Were hoping to get a conclusion be that hopefully seeing Cancelo at City or even at another team at this point to end the speculation soon.
